Lecturer
Responsibilities include:
As a Lecturer, you will design, develop, and deliver material using a range of methods and platforms. You will create course material, lesson plans, and curricula, conduct research and fieldwork, engage with students, assist with processing applications, and also attend interviews, conferences, and meetings
✓ Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars
✓ Developing curricula and course material that can be used across a number of platforms
✓ Collaborating with other academics and lecturers to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base
✓ Setting and grading assignments, tests, and exams
✓ Attending and participating in meetings, conferences, and other events in and outside of the institution
✓ contributing to the administration of the academic programme at campus level. This may include undertaking tasks associated with student recruitment, open days, induction and programme planning; involvement in assessment boards, course development teams
✓ Assuming a designated leadership role in the relevant academic area as required. This may include the role of Module Co-ordinator and/or Programme Co-ordinato
Requirements:
✓ Master degree in the relevant discipline
✓ Previous teaching experience
✓ Ability to inspire students
✓ Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills
✓ Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
✓ Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work long hours
✓ Interpersonal skills
